So it has been a lengthy process this album business we started tracking some of it around november 2008 with no idea that an album was on the cards. Then once we had finished the single with nz on air we thought we might as well try and do it as we had 3 tracks finished anyway.
So we embarked on finsihing the rest of the album off. After much deliberation we narrowed it down to twelve tracks. Three already done one other mixed and 8 to go. We saved enough money to get the drums tracked at york street as you may know so have spent the last two months recording the rest. So far we are up to Dan’s guitar parts so we should be finished around mid august all being well.
The plan is to get the record all printed and go on tour late septmeber early october. We are going to try and do a three night residency at Hamilton’s flow bar with different bands each night and prizes and free beer and such like. Then head off to Auckland Napier and wellys the following weekend.
So the next three months are going to be epic for us and I will keep you posted as to how we are getting on
got ma dlove for you shorty
